Worcester School Committee Forum: Putting All Children First

he League of Women Voters of the Worcester Area (LWVWA), The Massachusetts Women of Color Coalition (MAWOCC), and the Worcester Education Collaborative (WEC) invite you to a Worcester School Committee Candidate Debate: Putting All Children First.
The event will be hosted at Worcester State University in the Sullivan Auditorium (WSU).
Doors open at 6:00pm
Debate begins promptly at 6:30pm
Our community partners are: YWCA, Salem Square, Worcester, MA, CENTRO, Worcester State University, and Worcester Youth Center
The format for the forum is as follows:
Round 1 –Candidate introduction and platform presentation
Round 2 – Each candidate will answer one tailored question based on their platform and/or position. These questions will be developed by all of the participating organizations.
Round 3 – (Lightning Round) – Questions drawn randomly from the audience. Candidates will have 1 minute to answer. Ideally, each candidate will get 3 questions. Questions will be divided between K-12 students, parents and the general public.
Closing – Each candidate will have 1 minute to use as they please.
