Thrive Act

Along with our parent organization, the Massachusetts Education Justice Alliance, we are supporting the Thrive Act in the Massachusetts legislature. This bill would end the MCAS graduation requirement, end state takeover of school districts, and create better systems that can serve all students and families. Learn more here!

MCAS Ballot Initiative

Along with the Massachusetts Teachers Association, we are supporting a ballot initiative that would end the MCAS graduation requirement- helping to ease unequal burdens on students with learning disabilities and English Language Learners and helping make the MCAS a more accurate assessment of student learning.
